Pond Visitor

This morning I went outside to let the dogs out and noticed all the plants in my pond looked a little odd. Once I got a little closer I noticed that some of the stones surrounding the pond had been knocked in and the pump was knocked over. The plants kind of thrown all over the place and turned upside down. The fish still seemed to be present though. So it appears that I have attracked a visitor to my lovely little pond. A raccoon is my guess. Just let me catch him out there and I'll sick the dogs on him. Teach him to mess up my pond.

What a Great Weekend

What a great extended weekend I had. It was suppose to be my weekend to relax and catch up on my sleep from working the weekend before. Somehow it didn't turn out that way though and I'm completely ecstatic it didn't. Shawn for the last couple of weeks has been trying to set me up with this guy that he met about a month ago. He kept telling me how great, nice and sweet he was and that I had to meet him. So Shawn set up a BBQ on Saturday afternoon so that we could meet. Let me just start by saying I was incredibly nervous. I got to Shawn's house a little early and the first thing I said after Hi was "Open the wine now because I am nervous". Somehow wine always seems to make you more relaxed. Thank god for the person that invited Mosccato D'Asti. So I quickly downed a glass of wine and chatted with Shawn about the dogs and then saw Paul start to walk up to the back gate. Oh my god he is so cute. I did a little happy flip inside, inside only mind you cause I was so nervous I could barely stand up straight, or maybe that was the wine. Anyway the point is he is very hot. At this point I'm still inside talking with Shawn because I'm to nervous to go outside and introduce myself and Paul is outside petting Baci, Beebe, Bliss and Broc. (I put those in alphabetical order and didn't even realize it) So after awhile Shawn and I went outside and I introduced myself and the rest of the weekend just seemed to kind of fly by. So before I said that he was very hot but that isn't the best part about him. He is so incredibly sweet. Some people have a really strong personality and just kind of either annoy you or just kind of put you off, but he isn't that way at all. He is definitely confident but not cocky. Just very down to earth and happy with life. Open but not jadded ya know? All I know is that every time I think about him it puts a smile on my face. So thanks to Shawn and Jeremy for introducing us and cooking some great BBQ.

Tim Plays The Piano

Well I finally spent the time to try to record myself playing the piano. I didn't have a cord to plug my clavinova into my laptop so I just had to use my laptop microphone so the sound quality isn't the best. You'll get the idea though. :)

Bach Prelude #1 in C Major for the Well Tempered Clavier

How often do you dream of piano inversions?

In my piano class we are practicing our Major and Minor chord inversions, which oddly enough I kind of enjoy. But when you start dreaming about them I wonder if something is wrong. I have the Bach Prelude #1 in C for the Well Tempered Clavier down pretty well now. I should record it and post it on here so you can all here me play. :)

Workin Late

Here i sit at my desk this lovely Saturday evening recompiling just about all the programs on our system at work. It's about 78 degrees in here and I think I'm going to fall asleep. Yawwwwnnnn. Unfortunately most of the time here is spent watching the screen to make sure that everything compiles correctly. What a boring task huh? On the bright side it is going slightly faster than expected. I was expecting it to take around 10 to 12 hours. It looks like we might get done in 7 or 8. Yippy.

Nope...I lied. It took 11 hours.

Where Have I Been?

I haven't updated you all in a while have I? Well let me do that then. My dad drove up from New Mexico for the long weekend. He arrived on Saturday afternoon and we had a lot of fun. We went to the Cedar Rapids Symphony Pops Concert on Saturday. Then Sunday we had a nice BBQ and just chatted. Then Monday I took them down to the Amana's and we saw the sites and ate the food. Then Tuesday we went fishing, yes I actually went, and then had dinner at J's girlfriends house.

It was a good time and other than the nasty rash that I've picked up from the fishing I would say a perfect weekend. It can't be perfect though when you have red bumps all over your body and wish that you had body sized hands so you could scratch all the itchy spots all at once.

My Arbonne business is picking up. I have several meetings set up this coming week and am really excited about it. Here's to some great products and hopefully a little extra cash.

Scot's whippet, CC, is staying with me for the weekend while he visits Kate. She's a sweety pie, CC, I mean...well Ok Kate Too. *love you Kate*. CC, Baci, Beebe and I will have a great time this weekend. I plan on completely fattening CC up so Scot has to put her on a diet when he gets back. But that's what Uncles are for. Spoiling right?

Well I'm off to check on the sprinklers. Night all.
