“Beebe” came to us from the world famous whippet breeder Bo Bengtson (Bohem)
and her co-breeder Pattee Singer (Diva) at 2 ½ years old with several reserve
placements in tough West Coast competition. She is very well bred and both
her sire and dam are top winners from lines that are well known for their
prestigious wins as well as for producing a high percentage of champion, top
winning offspring.
Once in the Midwest Beebe blossomed and her class career was short and to
the point. In limited showing, all owner-handled, she garnered many wins
under well respected judges. Some of the highlights were her first major at
the AWC North central specialty weekend under Mrs Sharon Krogh, a best of
breed and Group 3 under breeder-judge Dr John Shelton (Sheridan), and her
final major to finish at the AWC Waukesha supported entry under breeder-judge
Mrs Joan Goldstein (Gold Dust).
Beebe’s biggest and most impressive win came during her very short
specials career. It was under the previously mentioned breeder-judge Dr John
Shelton (Sheridan) that Beebe took BOB at the 2004 Greater Chicago whippet
club specialty over many of the country’s top competitors.

Now Beebe is a much loved pet and mother. Her first breeding was to BIS
SBIS CH Sporting Field’s Jazz Fest, a proven sire with many top winning
children worldwide. Her second was to Ch Brushwood Prime Time Endeavor,
a handsome son of the famous “Moxi” BIS SBIS NSBIS CH Brushwood’s Moxi of
Endeavor. From this breeding we had two wonderful males. Devon and Vinnie.
After much fretting the decision was made for Devon to stay with Shawn while
Vinnie has gone to California to be with Beebe's Breeder Pattee Singer.
